Sox Play Out The Rest of The Season

The Sox have pretty much played out the string with mediocre .500 baseball even against
the weak teams. Today they beat the Orioles for Lowe's 21st win, but everyone is looking
forward to next year. They will win 90+ games most likely, but the A's and the Angels
will take the West and the wildcard by a lot.

This is garbage team for the team, time for individual accomplishments and speculation
about who will be signed for next year. Last week there was a big todo about Manny not
running out a ground ball. This week the press got on Nomar for some backhanded comments
about Boston, which he quickly diffused by saying he loves playing in Boston. Then it's
talk of the Cy Young, which Lowe and Martinez are in contention for but it should go to
Zito. We're desperate for excitement and news as Red Sox fans. At least it didn't end
up like last year with the ugliness.
